"These are exciting times for all of Kentucky! Our recent eighth place ranking in the prestigious Digital States Survey verifies that Kentucky is becoming a national leader in digital government. To continue building on that success, we must search for new opportunities to improve government services for our citizens by utilizing technology in an efficient and collaborative manner. By following Gov. Fletcher's Prescription for Innovation, it is our goal to stimulate innovative solutions for improving government services, both state and local, that will benefit the entire commonwealth. I invite you to join us at the upcoming 2007 Kentucky Digital Government Summit on April 24 in Lexington to help us work on this initiative."
- Mark Rutledge
Commissioner of Technology,
Commonwealth of Kentucky
"This summit is a great chance for local government to interact with state government and private industry. It is a worthwhile conference with relevant and timely sessions around the technology issues currently being faced in government. We wouldn't miss it."
- Beth Niblock
