Event celebrates completion of Microsoft Exchange implementation in state schools.
Robbie Rudolph, secretary of Gov. Ernie Fletcher’s Executive Cabinet, spoke at an event on Nov. 20 to celebrate the completion of the implementation of a Microsoft Exchange e-mail communication system in Kentucky schools. The event was part of the Kentucky Society for Technology in Education’s Fall Update at the Capital Plaza Hotel in Frankfort.
The Microsoft Exchange system serves more than 600,000 students and more than 150,000 teachers and administrators across the commonwealth. Kentucky is the first state in the nation to make a centrally run e-mail system available to every student, teacher and school administrator.
