Kentuckians' use of state government websites

More than half (54%) of Internet users surveyed in 2004 report visiting Kentucky state government Web sites, up 5% from 2003. Although similar questions were not asked in the most recent survey, the 2003 survey found that 97% of visitors to state government Web sites found the information to be "very" or "somewhat" helpful. Again, age is a strong factor in the use of e-Government services in Kentucky - older Kentuckians (age 55 or older) are significantly less likely than those in younger age brackets to report visiting state government Web sites.
