On June 29, Gov. Ernie Fletcher announced that Kentucky.gov, the official Web site for the Commonwealth of Kentucky, has launched Commonwealth News Center, featuring the latest news from all cabinets and agencies within state government. All state government news can be accessed online at http://kentucky.gov/Newsroom/.
“This new tool allows our citizens direct access to news and information specific to their community and let’s them know their state government is working hard for them,” Gov. Fletcher said.
Kentuckians may also get specific state government news e-mailed directly to their inbox by signing up for a free subscription to the Commonwealth News Center. Enrollment is easy and fast by following the instructions listed below after navigating to this address: http://www.kentucky.gov/Newsroom/subscriptioninformation.htm.
- Register with Kentucky.gov to create a single secure sign-on account;
- During step 6 of the registration process, answer “Yes” regarding signing up to subscribe to the Commonwealth News Center;
- Complete your subscription by selecting any of the agencies, topics and delivery options you want to receive; and
- Sit back and wait for the news to come to your e-mail inbox.
